Horrible Injury is very proud to present new material from Terry Shanks...
Shanks' approach to music is sporadic and spontaneous yet meticulous - and often half-hearted by his own admission, having been deterred by many unsavoury encounters in various punk and new-wave influenced bands in the early to mid-1990s
His project Widow's Peak is the most accurate embodiment of his frustration and bitterness towards society, the music industry and himself. Created back in 2007 using a second-hand computer and various distorted source materials including Shanks' own vocals, the result is an overpowering and unsettling disquiet which doesn't give up until the end.
"Terry Shanks was back in prison for a bit but got out on parole and is just wallowing around at the moment. I think he had to sell his computer for council tax payments so he's just using a tape recorder at the moment and not getting much done."
